Signals from the Commodore | Kathy Fedick
I am pleased to announce that Emily Wilczewski has come forward as a candidate for the Vice Commodore position and was approved by the Nominating Committee and the Executive Committee. We will present her nomination at the December 7th General membership meeting, if unable to attend you can request an absentee ballot to vote from Secretary David .
We are still looking for a ⚓Rear Commodore for 2026, if you are interested in this position, please reach out to me, Dan Socci or our current Rear Commodore John Garlock.
📅 PYC General Meeting – Sunday, December 7th at 1:30 PM 📍 Pultneyville Fire Department
Join us for the PYC General Meeting to catch up on club updates and plans for 2026. Please bring a dessert or appetizer to share. We will order some pizzas too.
Come out and hear what’s going on with the club for 2026. If you are able to come out for the Friday December 5th Happy Hour, or General meeting, I was hoping we could have people bring something to donate to the Open Door Mission again this year- blankets, bar soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant for men and women, socks, new underwear for men, women and children, cereal, oatmeal, towels and any canned goods. These items will be delivered before Christmas.
The Pultneyville Yacht club winter hats are in! I have 16 left- 9 black, 7 deep navy ones, they are $20 each. Please message me if you would like to purchase one, they are going fast. Wishing everyone a wonderful Holiday season. The 2026 Boating season will be here before you know it.
Flares from the Vice Commodore | Pat Sangster

Let’s close out the year with good food, drinks, and great company! 🍕🥂
Thank you to all the volunteers this year. I couldn’t have done the Vice Commodore job without your assistance!
Welcome Aboard Waves From The Membership CHair | Cathy MacDonald
Happy Holidays to all! Hopefully by now your boats are all prepared for the upcoming winter months ahead!
I am pleased to announce our newest member Ray Sanders. Ray will be retiring and will be relocating from Oklahoma to their new home on Lake Rd. by the end of the year. They will be bringing their 21’ Catalina power boat to dock at PYC. 🎉Please welcome Ray.
We also have a couple more interested potential new members who are in the process of purchasing their future boats to bring to PYC. Hopefully all will go well for them.
Wishing you and your family the very best Holidays & Happy New Year!

Ledger Lines from the Treasurer | Garland Nichols
After four rewarding years as Treasurer of PYC, it’s time to pass the ledger at the start of 2026. It’s been a pleasure managing the club’s finances and supporting our shared passion for boating. I’m excited to hand things over to our next Treasurer, Leslie Phillips. We will begin the transition starting January 2026.
Thank you all for your trust and support throughout my tenure—see you on the water!
